I found out I was pregnant with Sean Jr. around the first week of May. We were both excited since this would be our first child. I knew from the very beginning it was going to be a boy. I had a pretty normal pregnancy I did have some slight bleeding but My OB said it wasn't nothing to be worried about. My due date was set for December 31, 2003. We were overjoyed what away to end the year and start a new one with a baby. I went for my first appointment everything was great. At 13 weeks we got to hear the heartbeat and it was such a wonderful sound to hear. My next appointment was for 17 weeks and I would get a ultrasound. Well at things turned out I never made it. On July 17th at 10:30 pm I was getting up from going to the bathroom when I felt a sudden gush of water. I wasn't sure what it was at first, but then I realize my water had broken. So My husband rushed me to the hospital. I had an ultrasound done the next morning, I didn't have much fluid left. We were given two options from my OB, induce me now and have the baby or be admitted to the hospital and wait and see what happens, since it was possible for the bag of waters to seal back up. My baby was still alive so we choice the hospital. I was there for 4 days on bedrest and given medicine so I wouldn't get and infection. I was released to come home and continue bedrest. Later that night, I felt my babies cord when I was using the bathroom. I was taken back to the hospital, Were a short time later I gave birth to My Son at 11:52 pm. I had to have a D&C afterward to remove the placenta. We did spend time with him the next morning. I cherish those moments. And My husband wanted our son named after him. My Book Of Life Certificate
